No, The Unveiling Miracles Retreat is a Kabbalistic retreat that delves into the science of Spirit. It is a metaphysical retreat which will include mystical teachings of Kabbalah which is a universal teaching transcending religion. Through the trip to Morocco, we will be exploring Kabbalah via the teachings of Jewish Sages and Kabbalists. We will touch on the meanings, conversions and connections and how Kabbalah is indeed the mystical teaching of the West. We will meditate and connect while exploring the universe's hidden dimensions and the relationship between humanity and the divine. We will not be practising specific religious practices and you may join the retreat and you will find your place no matter which religion you subscribe to. The retreat provides participants with a transformative experience through various universal practices and teachings which you are welcome to apply in your life as you choose after the retreat. WHAT SHALL I EXPECT FROM THE TEACHINGS? Expect the unexpected. You will be exploring what miracles are made of and in order to do this, we will be diving deep into the unknown. Come prepared to venture out of your known zones and you will be able to receive surprising new insight about yourself and about life itself. DO I NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE MEDITATING: Ideally YES, we will be going into deep meditative travels throughout the journey and connecting with the great Masters. The ability to sit in silence and contemplate will be helpful to you. That said, if you are called to join, you still have time to train and Shani will give you preparatory guidance once your application has been accepted. WHAT IF I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT KABBALAH? Then this will be an opportunity to learn! Whether you have prior experience or not does not matter in this instance. The retreat is energetically focused, it is about direct experience and meeting with the energy. VISAS & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Citizens of many countries, including most European Union countries, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, can enter Morocco for tourism purposes for up to 90 days without a visa. FLIGHTS & TRANSPORTATION: Which airports serve Tangier and Casablanca? Tangier has Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) and Casablanca. Both locations are very accessible by air. We will be sending you a request for your travel times and flights and will recommend ways to reach the venue according to your special needs if any. Domestic travel: All Transportation starting at our first meeting and until our celebratory dinner will be provided for you. We will also help you with your bookings to and from the airport if you so require. WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION CAN I EXPECT? We will be staying at 5-star hotels throughout the visit. Details of those will be shared with you upon your application approval. You will have the option to share a room with someone or stay in a single room. Please note that if you stay in a double room and do not have a partner you wish to share with, we will be allocating a roommate for you. WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE LOCATION? All hotels will have a pool and Spa area, though we will not have ample time to enjoy those as you will be mostly bathing in the spiritual fire of the Kabbalists. That said, please do bring your swimwear so you can enjoy the facilities and bathe in the sun when the opportunities arise to do so! CURRENCY & PAYMENTS: Local currency: Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Consider exchanging some currency before arrival and using ATMs for withdrawals. Payment methods: Cash is widely used, but credit cards are accepted in larger establishments. Be aware of potential transaction fees. It is recommended to bring some cash. Tipping: Not mandatory but tipping small amounts for good service is appreciated.
