DO I NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE MEDITATING? No, prior experience with meditation is not a requirement for this journey. While our adventure will not specifically center around meditative practices, it will be rich with other transformative experiences. We will embark on explorations that stimulate both the mind and the senses, including immersive cultural encounters, scenic excursions through breathtaking landscapes, and engaging sessions that focus on personal growth and communal harmony. Through the trip to Ibiza, we will be exploring Kabbalah via the teachings of Jewish Sages and Kabbalists. We will touch on the meanings, conversions and connections and how Kabbalah is indeed the mystical teaching of the West. We will meditate and connect while exploring the universe's hidden dimensions and the relationship between humanity and the divine. We will not be practising specific religious practices and you may join the retreat and you will find your place no matter which religion you subscribe to. WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION CAN I EXPECT? We will be staying at 5-star hotels throughout the visit. Details of those will be shared with you upon your application approval. You will have the option to share a room with someone or stay in a single room. Please note that if you stay in a double room and do not have a partner you wish to share with, we will be allocating a roommate for you. WHAT WILL THE FOOD BE LIKE? The culinary journey in Ibiza is designed to nourish both body and soul, seamlessly blending sustainability with local culinary traditions. Menus are enriched with organic, locally-sourced ingredients, and reflect a deep respect for the environment and the vibrant local culture. Offering a mix of nutrition and indulgence, our dishes range from innovative takes on traditional favourites to refreshing, health-forward options, catering to diverse palates and dietary needs, including vegetarian and pescetarian selections. WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE LOCATION? All hotels will have a pool and Spa area, though we will not have ample time to enjoy those as you will be mostly bathing in the spiritual fire of the Kabbalists. That said, please do bring your swimwear so you can enjoy the facilities and bathe in the sun when the opportunities arise to do so! CURRENCY & PAYMENTS: The local currency is the Euro (EUR). It's a good idea to have some currency exchanged prior to arrival and utilize ATMs for additional cash needs.
